Financial Inclusion Fund Project

The bureau is participating in the Face to Face Debt Advice Project funded through the Central Government's Financial Inclusion Fund administered by the Department of Trade & Industry (DTI) and managed by Citizens Advice.

The bureau's project is funded from October 2006 until the end of March 2008 and this was then extended until March 2011. The project aims to assist people with multiple debts to negotiate affordable payments with their creditors after identifying their essential household expenditure. 

As a result of receiving this funding the bureau has been able to employ  additional debt caseworkers, Alison Ellicott, Hasina Khalifa and Becki Routh who are working at various locations throughout Nuneaton & Bedworth.

In June 2010 we also started to provide debt advice for Warwickshire Probation Service Users throughout Warwickshire
