About The Website
Aims:
This website aims to improve accessibility to our services and augment our walk-in service with email support as well as telephone support. In addition it will shortly be including BSL assisted pages for deaf users, supplied by 'SEE-BSL' to make navigation of the site faster and simpler to use. We already provide enlarged text (see below). The site also provides links to relevant support services as well as a help-pack for those looking for help with debt management.
The Nuneaton & Bedworth website was kindly donated by Jackbox Webdesign as part of their ongoing initiative to support essential local community services and registered charities.
Large Print Option:
We have tried to make this site accessible to visitors with limited eyesight with the 'enlarge text' option. Using the button at the top right of this page, font sixes can be increased up to five times magnification. To return to normal size, refresh the page.
BSL Navigation:
We are acutely aware of the difficulties that text-only pages can create for deaf internet users. Written English is a actually a secondary language for many deaf people and unfortunately far too many web sites show a disregard for the needs of the deaf, incorrectly assuming that text alone is quite adequate. We do not agree with this point of view and will be providing BSL-assisted pages throughout the NABCAB website to improve navigation and to ensure that access to information is both accurate and quicker to find.

SEE-BSL provides BSL assisted web pages to the business and commercial sector and encourages businesses and local authorities to include BSL to improve accessibility for the deaf and hard of hearing. You can find out more about SEE-BSL pages here.
