Face to Face Debt Advice Project
The bureau is participating in the Face to Face Debt Advice Project funded through the Central Government's Financial Inclusion Fund administered by the Department of Trade & Industry (DTI) and managed by Citizens Advice.
The bureau's project is funded from October 2006 until the end of March 2008 and is aimed to assist people with multiple debts to negotiate affordable payments with their creditors after identifying their essential household expenditure.
As a result of receiving this funding the bureau has been able to employ an additional 3 part time debt workers, Alison Ellicott, Hasina Khalifa and Philip Dolan who are working at various locations throughout Nuneaton & Bedworth including:
